Cub Scout Day Camp

Day 1:  On day 1 I made rocket launchers and I went through this water machine.  I forget what the game was called.  Every day we have some story time which is also called "Captain's Log".  We also do some den cheers at Captain's Log and stuff like that.  Then we go back out and play some games.

Day 2:  On day 2 we made little toy rockets and launched them.  We built egg containers and the next day we dropped them.  I shot arrows from a compound bow and I shot BBs.  We had a water fight where students had a little sponge and they were getting everybody wet.

Day 3:  Day 3 we launched our eggs.  We slid down a slide with the water thing I was talking about.  Everybody was slipping down the slide because they put some Dawn on it.  It's good for cleaning with and it's good for slipping with.

Day 4:  On day 4 we did Jedi Knight training and it was very hard, especially with one of the teachers named Ben, but I took Ben out about 2 times.  We did this thing called "Leave No Trace" where we walk around finding garbage and putting it away.  We fired our water rockets and I put mine on 100 and it went really, really high.  Everybody's did.  Mine was steaming and some other kids' too.  Then we did some snack time and some story time.  Before lunch, we went to see the Bomb Squad.  Then we had some lunch.  I don't remember what we did after lunch except we had this little meeting that thanked everybody who helped.  While we were there, they talked about a meeting that the Weblos were going to have and they were going to retire some flags and do other stuff like that.  Then my mom picked me up and took me home.

P.S. - The guys who were firing some rockets had problems of how to make them get to the other end and they solved it:  They put rockets in the rockets.  Then they had another problem; how to keep the rocket wires from twisting up with each other.  It was the last day so it really didn't matter because there won't be another one till next year.

The end.

Boatwave

Hello again.  It's David here.  I got hit by a wave while tubing.  I'll tell you the story.  First we arrived at the docks.  Then we played a little bit in the water.  There was a lot of seaweed and mud.  Then we went across the water in my dad's cousin's speedboat.  It was so fun.  At first we went slow.  Then we sped up.  I was drinking a Capri Sun and my brother, Braden, was too.  Then, when we were going fast, my brother's hat blew off by the motor.  Fortunately, it did not get hit by the propellers.  We got it back anyway.  Then we made it to the other side and then I saw the tube and the other kids.  We played in the deep water and the shallow water.  We also played on the tube.  My story is almost over now but there is still a little bit more.  Then they hooked the tube up to the boat with a rope from the boat.  Then, me and 4 of my friends went tubing in the back of the tube.  Then the boat made a big turn but the tube stayed straight and we got really close to one of the waves.  We went over lots of them.  We went woah, woah, woah, woah, woah.  Then we went over one of the bit waves, wooaaaaaahh.  Then, we came really close to another wave.  Here comes the last of my story.  The wave came over the tube with somebody else standing up.  The end.

Father/Son Campout, Kidfest

Yesterday, ending today, I went to Father/Son camping.  First I ran around with my friend, Logan, and then Corbin came.  Then we were playing kite.  Me and Logan played with the kite.  My brother Braden was running around with us.  Another kid was flying the kite.  I got to fly it once, too.  Then I had a little meeting.  I watched a video about baptism.  By time it was done, it was 10:00 except I still got to play some more.  Then I ran around some more playing with the kite.  The kite broke.  I played with my friend, Zayden.  We were running from the kid that was flying the kite.  He had a green light.  We were running away.  If we got spotted, we were out.  Then I played with the big kids.  They did not let me.  Their level was 6 and under and I am 7 and their level is 6 and they did not let me play.  So I went to play with my brother and Zayden over by my Dad with a frisbee and a ball.  Then I went over to Dad and asked for my teddy bear, Ned.  Then my Dad asked, "Are you tired?"  I said yes.  He told us a story of how he came home for Father/Son camping.  Then we said a prayer and then we went to bed.

Now I will talk about the next day.  The next day, I got up when my brother had to go to the bathroom because I did, too.  I got a little lost when my brother and Dad went to the bathroom while I was getting dressed.  Then I went to the Porta-Potty.  I was expecting them to be locked up in there.  They were not there.  When I was done going to the bathroom, I checked in the tent.  Then I checked where they were making pancakes.  Then Logan got up.  Then me and him played together.  Then Corbin got up.  Then we ate breakfast.  Then we tried to fly the kite except it turned backwards and flipped over.  Then we were playing something else.  Then we went to the back yard.  I was jumping on the trampoline.  Then I saw a toad under the trampoline.  Then more people went under and got toads.  Logan got a toad from somebody else.  Then I rode in a wheelbarrow pushed by Carson's dad.  Then I threw a net on a bar.  Then I kicked a ball, then I ran bases.  Then I got to shoot a rifle B-B gun.  Then I threw a ball into a bucket.  Then Braden did all the same stuff.  Then we went swimming in Bishop's pool.

Today I went to KidFest.  I almost cried when I thought Dad was trying to force me to go up and dance on stage.  Then Dad told me he was not going to force me, he was just encouraging me.  Then I got to try to throw a stuffed whale into a cupboard.  I had a close shot.  I still got candy.  Then we went to Watergun Alley.  When I came out, a boy tried to hit a girl with a watergun.  The girl tried to hit the boy.  The boy missed the girl and, at that time, I was with Dad.  The boy accidentally hit me and Dad with the watergun.  Then I went to the firetruck.  Then I went to see the kittens.  Then I went to the helicopter.  I got the chair wet because first I was in Watergun Alley.  Then I went into the firetruck.  I got wet in one second, too wet in one second.  Then I stood in the sun next to my Dad.  Then, on the way home, we stopped by A&W.  My Mom got a sundae and the rest of my family got root beer floats.  Then we went the rest of the way home.

I want to write about the last day I was at the swimming pool.  I went down the slide that led into the teenagers' pool.  I went down both, actually.

Today I went to Dallon's house.  The first thing I did was played with his legos that came out of his lego box.  I chose what we do next.  Next, I went outside.  I got a piece of bread and the dogs chased me around.  The end.

I am David.  I want to tell you about school.  It is fun.  We are going to be working on shapes next week.  We're not doing it this week because this week is Spring Break.  We have spelling word tests every Friday. I ride the bus everyday.  The End, this is my Blog.
